For anyone who wants to know, here are the basic details of my trip:
I leave May 28 and return July 17. I'll be in a place called Loja, working at a university. As of right now, I'll be spending the majority of my time in a lab doing extractions on a few plants that have shown some antibiotic properties, as well as some anti-cancer properties. I will also have the opportunity to do some plant collection, as well as spend some time in the Amazon. I really don't know any other specifics right now. I'll be sure to take as many pictures as I possibly can, and what I can't post on here I can always share when I return to the States. I'm not sure how much time I'll have to spend on the internet, so updating might be sporadic. If you wish to contact me for any reason, you can email me at ferraria86@hotmail.com.
